El neumotórax espontáneo es una rara forma de presentación de las metástasis pulmonares y con motivo de la publicación de un nuevo caso se comentan los mecanismos patogénicos de tal asociación, señalando que el TAC torácico y la toracoscopia fueron nuestros mecanismos diagnósticos.

Spontaneous pneumothorax is an uncommon presenting form of pulmonary metastasis. Because of the documentation of a new case, the authors discuss the pathogenetic mechanisms of the association in which chest computed tomography and thorascopy were the diagnostic tools.
