Summary

The authors present a case of unilateral pulmonary edema in a patient with left ventricular insufficiency. Yhe unilateral aspect of the pulmonary edema was produced by decrease of the pulmonary arterial circulation, in turn produced by tuberculous arteritis. The authors insist in the different causes that produce UPE, in the importance remembering them, especially tubercylosis in this environment, in order to make a differential diagnosis with respect to pneumonía.
