Resumen

La dilatación idiopática de la arteria pulmonar aislada es una enfermedad rara y benigna. Los pacientes con dicho proceso presentan una masa parahiliar por lo que hay que realizar una serie de diagnósticos diferenciales con otros procesos: neoplásias, linfomas, etc... Los criterios diagnósticos quedan descritos en el texto, así como el fonocardiograma.

El diagnóstico definitivo se realiza con la práctica de la angiografía y toma de presiones.

Summary

Idiopathic dilatation of the isolated pulmonary artery is a rare and benigh disease. Patients with this process present a parabiliary mass and therefore a series of differential diagnoses with other processes must be made: neoplasm, lymphomas, etc. The text describes the diagnostical criteria as well as the phonocardiogram. Definitive diagnosis is made with angiography and by taking the pressure.
