Presentamos dos casos de quilotórax aparecidos durante el postoperatorio de intervenciones quirúrgicas torácicas previas, uno derecho y otro izquierdo, corregidos quirúrgicamente con éxito tras el fracaso de otras medidas terapéuticas conservadoras. Revisamos las indicaciones y técnicas descritas en la literatura.
Resaltamos la dificultad encontrada en ambos casos para realizar una ligadura simple del conducto torácico, y la necesidad de practicar sutura-ligadura de la zona fistulosa con posterior plastia de recubrimiento hasta conseguir un cierre eficaz.
We present two cases of postoperative chylothorax secondary to previous thoracic surgical procedures, from right and left side respectively, who were controlated with surgery after failure of previous conservative therapeutics. We review the indications and tecnics in the literature.
We appoint the dificult for make a simple ligature of thoracic duct, and the necessity of perfom the sutureligature of the fistulous trayect complementated with covering plastic procedure for an effective control.
