A finales del año 1974 inició sus actividades el Comité para el Diagnóstico y Tratamiento del Cáncer Primitivo de Pulmón. A partir de esa fecha, y hasta diciembre de 1977, 163 pacientes diagnosticados de esa forma tumoral fueron controlados por dicho Comité. Para su estudio se recurrió a los distintos criterios recogidos en el Protocolo que elaboraron previamente. En el presente artículo los autores exponen los datos de edad, sexo, histología, extensión TNM e indicaciones terapéuticas, estudiados tras el análisis de 163 casos de cáncer primitivo de pulmón, controlados por el Comité de Cáncer Primitivo de Pulmón del Hospital Clínico y Provincial de Barcelona.
The Committee for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Primitive Lung Cancer began its activities at the end of 1974. From that time up to December of 1977, 163 patients with this diagnosis were controlled by said Committee. For the study, the authors used the different criteria gathered in the protocal that they elaborated. In the present article, they expound on data including age, sex, hystology, TNM extension and therapeutical indications, studied after the analysis of 163 cases of primitive lung cancer, controlled by the «Committee of Primitivo Lung Cancer», of the Clinical and Provincial Hospital of Barcelona.
