Presentamos un caso de amiloidosis traqueobronquial difusa en un paciente varón de 83 años que se inició con un cuadro neumónico, en el seno de una enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica. Evolucionó con procesos obstructivos intercurrentes en los 2 años siguientes al diagnóstico y falleció por hemorragia digestiva alta. En ningún momento de su evolución se detectaron antígenos monoclonales.

We describe an 83-years-old man with diffuse tracheobronchial amyloidosis presenting with pneumonía, against a background of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The condition continued with intermittent episodes of obstruction for 2 years after diagnosis and the patient died after upper digestive tract hemorrhage. Monoclonaly was never demonstrated.
