Summary

The present clinical study describes a typical case of interstitial pulmonary fibrosis, and makes manifest the great difficulties for diagnosis frequently found in this type of process. After a brief review of the principal etiological causes that determine it, the histological study inclines the authors to think in the existence of a fibroleiomyomatous hamartoma.
